    So …..

  • Corren

There are still few Neanderthals who do not speak French. It would save us time and aggravation if the title of your blog would be in French so we would not rush there to read it or not.
    Thank you.

  • Richard

I enjoy roasting this happy couple as much as the next guy, but like Terry86 says above… so?

She gave $1000 to a political party. Good for her.

Maybe the Quebec press would prefer that parties be funded through corrupt ad executives instead.

  • Sophie

So, she gave a political party some money. Cool. Naturally, it would be way cooler if she had given 1000 to say, the Marxist-Leninist Party, but o well.As fun as shamelessly studying their private livews is, this isn’t relevant.

No, you’re right trolls, it’s not as exciting as the fact that the Conservative Party asked Ms. Couillard to be a candidate for them. That would have been way cooler.

  • Dan O

Well, if Wells or anyone else can find more people with Hells Angels/motorcycle gang connections giving to the CONs (or any other party for that matter), then i think there is relevance. Although I don’t see any issue in raising the point now, seeing as she then went on to bed a cabinet minister…

I’m just psyched ’cause I’m on track to beat the record for Most Comments For A Four-Word Blog Post. Woot!

Well, I suppose the fact that she claims to be involved in certain business but has no money, has not made money, one has to wonder how she paid the $1,000.

So what – ah, it’s about screening possible candidates isn’t it?

Hey, I have nothing against her – her life is far more exciting than mine and don’t care about extreme details (I can read a sexy novel for that) – but you know, when someone hasn’t made money, donates to a party, is being looked at as a possible candidate for that party and runs around with our foreign affairs minister with documents at hand – hmmmm…one does have to wonder.

  • Wayne

I love this – She has done more to brighten up the image of the Conservative Party than all the media spinners put together and as long as Bernier never discusses the private life of his ex-girlfriend the more and more he looks like a gentleman and she looks like well I can’t think of a polite term as yet say a woman scorned sounds better than a four letter word. But I would have to agree with the posters who say = so! 1000 is what you are allowed to donate and is public knowledge – so again where is the story? Hey Paul what’s happening slow day? Come on there is way more juicy stuff out there than this – by the way letting people know if the link goes to a french web site is definitely in order.

I just figured it out – the Tories are a lenient party – a woman can date a terrorist, a man can date a biker gal, mafioso, you can date anyone, anywhere you want – it’s not your business. Hey, don’t worry about left documents – you are expected to give everyone the benefit of the doubt that they aren’t nosy and will read them…government peple can date a terrorist, it’s okay, it’s none of your business.

Poor Eliot Spitzer – he ran in the wrong country.

She’s gorgeous. Can you get more pics of her?

Let’s look for the hidden silver lining in the Maximne Couillard affair.
He’s toast. We no longer have to look at his awful, cheesy suits anymore on national TV.
