And hopefully he can engage in another ‘frivolous lawsuit” over her posting a lyric of Mr. Cohen’s in order to promote personal gain without (I’m sure) his permission. I’m pretty sure if you use something an artist has written for personal gain in a commercial setting you owe them some money. Mmmmmmm?

I feel this video should be preserved in the National Archives of Canada. The artist who gave us that Famous Blue Raincoat is “being sent out like a postcard from place to place” (how Cohenesque!) to grace us with his charm and, one hopes, recoup some of the earnings of which he was so unscrupulously deprived. How is it he is so much more real than most of us? No, honestly, I want to know before I shuffle off this mortal coil.

As always Mr. Cohen is a great interview. I was at Friday and Saturday nights in Toronto and they were amazing. I have been to over 500 concerts and these were up towards the top of my list. I really hope he comes to NYC so I can see him again.

Great interview. Great questions.

I attended the Toronto show on the 7th and I must say he was truely loved by the audience. I first saw him on Austin City Limits a few years ago and said if he ever tours again I will not miss it. The show was a moving experience. He is a gifted man. I traveled to see him from Minnesota and will do it again if he extends his tour back in North America.
