yeah kady, a cab? the carleton young liberals bought bus tickets en masse, and took the 4 hurmdman to within walking distance. also, as someone who was in the blockade with the OLA, I can tell you it was a healthy mix of actual real farmers and Tory staffers (the way to tell the difference was that a few of them were walking around in "Tax on Everything" t-shirts and refused to answer when we asked them why they didn't go protest Harper this morning.

The angriest actual farmer had no kind words for Harper either, and claimed to be voting Green.

Josh - I'm totally going to blame that on fatigue. But thank you for noticing it - I fixed it, and even owned up to my original mistake with good old honest-keeping strikethrough.

Isn't Hillier an MPP now?

Boo to the Lib staffer because you missed a good part of Dion's speech, but no one is blaming you.

Saw it on cpac and I'm sure it will play again.

That's not as compelling as Kady's liveblogging to be sure, but worth a watch if you want to see the real Dion.

That said, I like the mix of both. Kady relates what we can't see and that is truly worth knowing. Also, she does what journalists should do, provides context. I think we need more Kady's. I'm sorry she won't be on the trail.

Randy Hillier? Really?
