When do these get written, Kady? In the article, SR comes across as not too worried about results but this morning he was on CBC panel talking about Con majorities. However, I think he just trying to scare everyone on the left witless and get them to move their votes to Lib.

“It may all be about fate, but she definitely plays favourites. Who has been most blessed by fate this fall, and who has suffered most?”

I don’t think any party can considered themselves blessed in this election but I think Dion has suffered the most. I reckon Green Shift would have been a winner anytime over the past 5 years but when he finally gets to put it to the test, we have troubled economy going into the campaign, and than a few weeks in there is financial meltdown across the world. How many of us are keen to experiment with new tax codes right now? Not many, is my guess.

I know where I’ll be election night…ABC – anyone but CTV.

We want non-partisan coverage – and, hey Lloyd Robertson – I don’t care if the CTV set is pretty.

Andrew Potter’s point, drawing on something maybe Charles Krauthammer wrote, was painful to read. Seriously, it gave me brain lesions.

You are all shy Kady – all shy of forecasting the election result..
I can’t blame Scott Reid – now there’s a man that has got predictions pretty bad in the past. I’m amazed he lived to tell the tale.
Mr. Potter has had his share of glory…but you..the Pixie of Prognostications…pooped out..still you have endless time in ITQ over the next 48 hours…

    Kady,

I’m not sure if you’re a reporter or an opinion maker but before we drop our vote into the ballot box would it not be interesting to know how consistent Ms.May might be?

    Here’s the pre-debate scene:

“She [Ms.May] argued that the TV network consortium’s initial exclusion of the Green Party of Canada was “anti-democratic” and blamed it on “the decision-making of a small group of TV network executives”.

And so she was given clearance for participating within the debates.

In what catagory is Ms.May going to put the decision-making of a small group of IPCCers and will she call their actions for suggesting to scrap the Greens off the ballot “un-democratic”?

Will she now be given clearance to sit out the election?

You see, it is important to find out what fraud is all about. Important to know for reporters and opinion makers alike.

JWL – We’ve been doing it Friday morning.

Kady, thanks for posting. Didn’t want to sound impatient earlier, but it’s become the highlight of my Sunday workday.

Thanks, Kady. Sounds like SR changed his tune between Friday and today or he knew who would be watching cbc this morning and decided to try and scare people on the left into voting Lib.

    Francien Verhoeven:

“You see, it is important to find out what fraud is all about. Important to know for reporters and opinion makers alike.”

    Dictionary definition:

“intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right”

    Sounds like Harper to me.

Elizabeth May spoke truth to power. Stephen Harper is officially a historical footnote.

  • Andrew Potter

As Kady notes, we do these on Friday mornings, usually while Kady’s walking her dog and Scott’s trying to find his pants.

Good news for those who enjoy these, bad news for those who don’t: The sunday ed at the Citizen wants us to keep doing the bberry roundtable, on at least an occasional basis.

The idea that Martin/Harper had it tough is laughable. They both came to power with huge amounts of federal money that they used to buy votes with. It’s pretty pathetic that they’ve both failed. Who was that was responsable for all that fiscal room again?
