CPC ConventionWatch 2008 – ITQ Tip of the Day

If anyone wants to compare the resolutions to be debated at next week’s convention to the Policy Declaration that came out of the party’s last convention in 2005, a PDF of the final version  is available on the party website here, although readers are advised that it may be wise to save a copy to their local hard drive — the html version of the text that used to be here has vanished down the memory hole, and it’s possible that the PDF was supposed to have been removed as well. It appears to be an orphan file at the moment – there are no internal links to the PDF or the now-missing text, and it doesn’t show up in the list of “key documents”.

Studying a high tech. solution to safely burn spent(?) fuel bundles is a challenge . Worrying about 1985 policy that dissappears into the black hole of steve’s mind s an unnecessary waste of time ?

Kady should post a whole bunch of these computer-type things to get readers used to the new format.

And they should be called…(wait for it)… IT Q-Tips! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAAA! I SIMPLY SLAY ME!!

  • Confused by your biases…

How exactly are the Conservatives hiding stuff if every single resolution clearly compares the old resolution and the new one?

Confused – Well, there’s the fact that they didn’t actually release the resolutions until the package had been leaked, and the apparent attempt to bury the 2005 policy declaration. They didn’t have much choice but to provide the existing text and the proposed amendments thereto in the final package – because how else would delegates know for what they were voting? – but it’s fair to say that the party did not make this information readily available to participants.
