This has been a long time coming. Hopefully this improves the overall environment of the House.

Pierre Poilievre’s insinuation that this ruling is somehow a Liberal conspiracy was over the top, as per his usual behaviour.

It’s rare to see Peter Miliken so serious but this was well said and well argued.
I’m very glad he did this; let’s hope the Mps follow this ruling!

  • Douglass

    Bravo sir!

  • Dot

Yeah Peter. Be vigilant. This is what the public wants from its elected officials.

Milliken is all talk no action. I’ve been waiting for him to get the house and committees under control for years and all he does is talk. He won’t do anything, and decorum will get worse.

Long overdue. Well done Mr. Milliken.
A record should be kept of those MP’s who choose to ignore the ‘dignity and decorum’ of the House.

This is great. 2 years ago.

Thought bubble over Dion’s head during that statement:

“Great to see you upholding that part of the rules, NOW”
