Scott, may I ask what on earth was the catalyst behind this post? The concept is great, but the actors and scene strike me as slightly less than topical. When I think of twitter, my mind doesn’t immediately connect to intergovernmental constitutional wrangling nigh 30 years ago. I’m not complaining, just curious.

You may have used “Twit” deliberately (in which case, ha!) but just to be pedantic for a moment, I believe the most widely accepted term for a single post on Twitter is a “tweet”.

Allow me to quibble a bit though with the characterization of this level of knowledge of Canadian constitutional affairs as “awesomely nerdish”. I would have characterized the level of knowledge of Canadian constitutional history required to get this joke as “elementary and basic”.

I see absolutely no reason that we can’t have adequate levels of constitutional/historical knowledge, technological savvy and a love of social networking silliness, AND rap music and makeout parties.
