    Looking at these pictures brings tears to my eyes. Now I can relate to my mother’s situation and her stories through viewing these pictures.

    My mother , a Canadian, was homeless in California and suffered from Leukemia and depression.
    After returning to Canada in September 2008, her health went down hill. She passed away in late January 2009.

    How did we come to this? I believe we ended up here through collective greed.

    It is time for us to turn to Islam, fore Allah is The Only One who can bring peace to our lives.
