The NDP writes to say their guy was working the phones for two-and-a-half hours last night, speaking with police officials and representatives of the protesters. He assured demonstrators, the NDP says, that he would pressure the Prime Minister to meet with them and will continue to pursue the issue himself.

So there.

If Jack was working the phones then he was doing so from VIA 1 ’cause when I was in line at around six o’clock waiting to take the train to Ottawa I saw him heading to the Panorama lounge to wait for the train.

Ah, the amazin’ new world of the cell phone.

Anyway, the only space Jack could clear would be a room full of journalists.

And so the validation of illegal unruly mobs comes from TWO political parties in Canada.

What’s next? MPs negotiating with hostage-takers when the bank heist goes south?

Encourage illegal behaviour with validation, and you will get more of it.

Smooth, NDP & Liberals. Real smooth.

And today Jack gets a thank-you from the Tories for this. Bizarre.
