Justin Trudeau and Martha Hall Findlay go sleeveless

Last year Nova Scotia Liberal Mike Savage was the lone MP who took up the Canadian Paraplegic Association’s challenge to spend a day in a wheelchair. This year there were several politicians. The day ended with timed wheelchair races.

Justin Trudeau sees Martha Hall Findlay going sleeveless. So he goes sleeveless too.

I guess Steven Fletcher’s spending every day in a wheelchair doesn’t count ? Not even mentioned, but if he were a liebral you can be sure it’d be in the headlines, and what exactly does the mayfly have to do with anything ? why is she still even on the Hill ? Where are the ‘leaders’ of all the other fringe parties that have exactly as much authority as she has, ie: none

Actually, Mr. Fletcher is an amazing man. I had a friend who’s nephew hit a deer and ended up a quadriplegic just like Steve. I was told that this man didn’t think life was worth living…I sent him the bio and pic of Steve. He is such an amazing example to many people, not just people in wheelchairs. When someone thinks they are worthless and there is nothing they have to offer life…Steve is the example to show them. There really is no such word as ‘can’t’ for anyone.
