The CRTC has decided to delay the issue of balancing CanCon with AmCon (YankCon?), announcing that — since it’s getting late and the networks have already started lining up U.S. programming for the new season — it won’t implement the proposed one-to-one spending ratio (equal spending on foreign and domestic content) this year, but that it will be “considered for the following year.” Here’s Grant Robertson’s story in the Globe.
