Stockwell Day writes to his constituents.

Escaping the artificial climate of Ottawa and breathing in the fresh air of home is vital for one’s sanity.

Obviously Mr. Day has never seen what actual violent protest looks like.

I don’t know if my earlier similar comment got eaten, but if the Minister of Public Safety thought that was a violent protest then we should be wary of this government indeed.

oops, i see now that the first comment made it through.

I wonder if the people of Ottawa are ever offended by the careless bashing their city receives. Assuming of course Day doesn’t mean Parliament Hill.

How is the investigation coming into those two police officers who were engaged as agent provocateurs during the Montebello Summit, Mr. Day? Surely you are concerned that Quebec Police disguised as protesters were carrying rocks, trying to provoke violence and going so far as to shove a union leader who was trying to keep the peace? Has you discussed this with your counterparts in Quebec? Are charges being laid?

      Good questions!
