Sherbrooke house is awesome, I have always wanted a home with a turret. And Moncton must be hot property market because you would think 500 grand would include some grass for your lawn.

great idea on photos from city to city! Would love to see Saint John,New Brunswick in this ..after all we are the largest city in New Brunswick, have a tremendous economy (thanks to the energy hub) and our cost of living for families is wonderfully low!

This is misleading. Yes, someone may be dumb enough to pay $500k for that little Ottawa house in Rockland area, but drive 15-20 mins south of the city and that $500k will get you something like the one in St. John’s. I think Maclean’s needs to provide a little more context in these types of comparisons.
