How should the federal government respond to "Buy American" policies in the U.S.?

    I don't know who deals with the IT on this site – but as you are a part of wordpress.com VIP you are restricting other members of wordpress.com from posting – and the OpenID java just doesn't work.

    I would fix that if I were you, especially if you intend on using intensedebate as the comment moderator.

    by all means ignore this comment – but if the comment section doesn't work correctly how are you going to get comments on what you write?

    Why should Canadians allow Americans to bid on contracts in Canada if we are not allowed to sell goods to the US? We should disqualify American Contractors from bidding on work in Canada if they do not want to use Canadian goods or supplies for their projects. "Buy American" = "Hire Canadian"

    ya military vehicles shouldn't be built in the US. the Army is ordering 660 Medium Logistics Vehicles (large cargo trucks) and they are all being built in Texas. Why is our taxpayer money stimulating the American Economy? It should be stimulating the Canadian Economy
