I find myself strangely fascinated by this tiny photo of Stephen Harper, which was featured prominently on Google News this morning. I haven’t seen anyone this happy since Gollum got the ring back.

The challenge is simple: write a caption to explain what our Prime Minister could be looking at that would make him so serene and content. The winner, as declared by a jury of me, gets a prize valued in the ones of dollars.

Not in the movie, but in the original Bowman novel. And I think in 2010 they somewhat reworked the last scene from the prior movie to include it – but's it's been a long time since I saw it. Anyway, I guess we're both right! :)
