Trouble even in Margaritaville

Climate change is to blame

The newest and most comprehensive report on the likely effects of global warming sees Florida’s Key West flooded—bad news for the dining and shopping destination “Margaritaville,” founded there by singer-entrepreneur Jimmy Buffet. The report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration also warned of a parched U.S. Southwest, a stormier Great Lakes region, and widespread disruption to agriculture. But even with all the new details, isn’t this sort of news getting too familiar to cause a real jolt? Will Congress, which is considering a global warming bill, do anything dramatic?

Do we have a similar agency doing similar projections with similar detailed reports that cover Canada?

    This stufff makes me laugh.
From the report. "Sea levels might rise three feet" ..meaning they might not.
"Higher temperatures could mean longer growing seasons"..or they could not.
"The hottest days could get hotter across"..or they could not.
"snowstorms could get heavier"or they could not.

With the world cooling for the last decade, it's funny how the scare reports are getting worse and worse. What they lack in accuracy, they make up for in hysteria.
