0684813637.01At long last, I read David McCullough’s brilliant biography John Adams. It is the fascinating story of a young barrister who chose the arena of public service at an historic moment. He is matched by a sage, literate wife. Their respective letters bring their time, thoughts and emotions to life in the midst of events leading to the creation of the American democracy and later his Presidency. Inspirational for those interested in the advancement of ideas in elective office!
