    This is rather old morality, as old as sin is. I like the brave statement in the article that there is no main stream religion that could offer morality to Canadians.
    Joan Osborne used to sing in 1995:
    "Preacher was talking
    There’s a sermon he gave
    Said every man’s conscience
    Is vile and deprave
    You can not depend on it
    To be your guide
    When it’s you
    Who must keep it satisfied"

    but who remembers that today?
