Righting the course: Charles McVety, Tony Clement and … ITQ?

mcvetyitq Yes, in this week’s webisode of the Charles McVety Show, ITQ gets a shoutout from McVety himself. You can watch the whole show here, at least for the moment — I’m not sure how often he rotates them out for new material — and the segment on sex parades, and more specifically, his self-proclaimed success in putting a stop to the federal funding thereof, kicks off just before the 20 minute mark. Happy viewing, all!

    God works in mysterious ways…

I don't know what a sex parade is, but is sounds like fun… and educational! Children could learn a lot.

Thank goodness for this jihad on sex parades. As it happens, there will be a sex parade in my neigbourhood tomorrow. A 'Caribbean-themed' sex parade.

Hopefully, Pastor McVety can arrange and also take credit for all funding towards this bacchanalia 'disappearing'. After all, one can only take so much reggaeton. And booty.

Hopefully, Dr, McVety;s crusade against sex parades will succeed! He would then remain the people's preferred jowly dominionist.

I started to giggle after about the third time McVety said "SEX parade." He couldn't resist using that term ad nauseum. Everyone now- "SEX parade. SEX parade. SEX PARADE!" How many times can YOU fit the term "SEX parade" into a 5 minute clip? Oh, and how many times can you slip a reference into making a pledge/donation at the same time? Though he did only mention it once during that segment, which surprised me.

I know it goes without saying but I'll say it anyway: this type of nonsense is exactly why a lot of voters still worry that the federal Tories have a big bad Secret Agenda. Or to put it another way, and to damn the Liberals with faint praise: many voters hold their noses and vote Liberal because they get the heebie jeebies (sp?) when they see the Tories hopping into bed with fundamentalists like this.
