    "Help" indeed.

"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.' Ronald Reagan

Maybe NDP should listen to Reagan more, they might get themselves elected nationally.

    • Greg

      Reagan is dead.

Talking to dead folks helps. Just ask Mackenzie King.

It's hearing back from them that causes trouble…

I don't see "kitchen" or "table" in that Wordle. Has Layton expunged these words from his political vocabulary?

  • Tammy

The American Democratic Party and the NDP have nothing in common other than that one word. Not the same at all.

For a bunch of socialists, these Dippocrats seem awfully afraid of class war.

look how prominent and central 'new' is, thank gawd they didn't toss that!

  • Wayne

Hey at least you have to give the NDP major kudos for actually having a conevntion where it looks like people were involved with their party and actually … gasp … working on policicy ininatives. I mean really after the last liberla one – oh yeah! … right they did have one awhile back althought it was to coronate the Igster and to keep jumping back and forth between empty chairs to make it look like someone was there .. most of the time the only sound after a speech were the crickets chirping. The NDP are interesting and who knows if next election they only get an increase in seats of half the amount they did last election the LPC could lose it's offical oppostion status.

Actually, they passed quite a few policy resolutions at the last Liberal convention, including a few that look suspiciously similar to some of what made it to the floor in Halifax.

      Ahem… Wayne… if I may have your attention for a moment…

What do you suppose a Conservative convention might look like now that their relatively recently united party has thoroughly abandoned conservative principles and is sending the drunken-sailor bill to the kids and grandkids? I suspect the party faithful might have something to say to the faithless MPs & Senators, and the degree to which the bigwigs will try to silence the real conservatives will be interesting to watch.
