Here’s the official list, hot off the committee website:

2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Witnesses
Society of Professional Engineers and Associates
Michael Ivanco, President

Videoconference

International Society of Nuclear Medicine
Robert Atcher, President

As an individual
Sandy McEwan, Special Advisor on Medical Isotopes to the Minister of Health

3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Witnesses

Atomic Energy of Canada Limited
Hugh MacDiarmid, President and Chief Executive Officer
Bill Pilkington, Senior Vice-President and Chief Nuclear Officer

4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Witnesses

Department of Natural Resources
Serge Dupont, Deputy Minister
Tom Wallace, Director General
Electricity Resources Branch

She’ll have to check her records to be sure, but ITQ is fairly certain that she’s liveblogged every one of the above witnesses at previous isotope-related meetings, with the exception of the minister’s special advisor, Sandy McEwan.

I have my bells all laid out.

Side Note to IT tech gurus who run the site….
After all the how many 'u's in Iqaluit fun we had this week, is it possible to update the spell checker to not mark British spelling as an error?

Well, having watched similar hearings where Linda Keen appeared, and then comparing ITQ's blogs afterwards, I'm sure if Sandy is similarly qualified, he/she will get a similar treatment.

I am assuming, based on past experience, that he/she will also have a Scottish accent. Or possibly Australian, or New Zealand. Definitely a Commonwealth country, though.

Funny – that Lisa Raitt can defend "shutting the Maple Reactors down" to a Globe editorial board yesterday – yet her predecessor Gary Lunn fired Linda Keen for forcing much the same thing…
Oh how do these CPC ministers flip and flop around like a stranded fish on a beach…

    • Dot

Funny how you once again have a very low level of understanding of the issues.

  • Linda

Funny? – You should try and understand the issue before you put your incredible intelligence out there for everyone to see. Unfortunately with most posters on these blogs is that they never read the entire article or bother to do a little research – no – if the first line of the column says anything about Harper or the Conservatives, the fingers start flying. Compared to the Liberals – exactly what did they do – oh that's right – absolutely nothing for years. Furthermore it seems the spelling is more important on this blog than your column Kady..

I this rant directed at anyone in particular?

I did just notice this little feature that was previously unknown to me.
That if one right clicks on the red underlined in the box that pops up with the spelling suggestion at the top there is an option for 'add to dictionary' a bit further down.
I don't know if that dictionary is on my computer or Googles but I am now satisfied.
Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.
