    Macleans, you need to hire a photographer or at least send someone with a grasp of composition and the skill to take indoors photos. If a photographer took these, they should find another occupation. If a writer is assigned to do photos for the web as well, have them take at least one class in photography first. As an avid amateur photographer, seeing stuff like this published is disappointing.

    I love that you're delivering this content to the web and capturing candid moments; nobody else is. On the whole I really like Macleans' internet content, especially the blogs. But content delivery for the web is no excuse for publishing photos of a quality that would embarrass a high-school newspaper.
