The smart mobile provider should only provide 4G (… 5G, 6G, et al) coverage to their customers, sell smartphones, allowing the customer to fuel the battle of Google and Skype. But hey, when has it ever been about the customer for mobile providers… besides in marketing briefs?

I see some of the points that are made about how this could hurt the cellphone market. However if google can do all this for free why are overpaying AT&T to do the same thing? If anything I hope this brings change to the cellphone market. I am not trying to get them crippled but…. 2 years without MMS (when it was promised) and a slew over other things that they have done wrong. If it takes a behemoth of a company to slap some sense into them I am all for it.
