Does Alex Turner need nicer clothes?

Turner, the lead singer of the Arctic Monkeys, looked like he always does—flannel clothes and messy hair—when he started walking up the stairs to the VIP section of a Holt Renfrew party that his girlfriend, MTVs Alexa Chung, was DJing. Unfortunately, his appearance didn’t impress the bouncer, who sarcastically denied him access. UPDATE: A spokesperson from Holt's says there wasn't a VIP area at the party, only a restricted area for interviews. And that no one was turned away from there based on their wardrobe.
