    I may have gotten the details wrong but didn't the CBC report that Jane made a side trip to the Separatist protest against the reenactment of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham because she thought it glorified the Israeli Air Force?

    Of course you forgot to mention that Roger Ebert wrote a scathing indictment of the protest but changed his mind after he did some research. He said: "The Festival should never have agreed to be used like this." Basically what Greyson and others were saying.
