John Riley pulls a Sinead O’Connor

Riley, president of Astral Media’s television networks, expected Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany, the stars of 'Creation,' at his party. When the two reneged on their commitment Riley took it hard—and publicly tore up a photo of Connelly. The actress later issued a tearful apology, saying she did make an appearance but was very sorry about leaving early. She wasn't in the partying mood; it was the one-year anniversary of her father’s death.
