3. Is John Tavares the next, 'Next One'?

In his last season in the OHL, John Tavares broke Peter Lee's 33-year-old record for the most career goals in OHL with 215. But if Lee's underwhelming five-year turn in the NHL is any indication, scoring goals against NHL competition is a different ballgame. Plus, the 19-year-old Tavares is being asked to resuscitate one of the league's most comically inept franchises—the New York Islanders. No pressure, kid.

Let's not forget that Peter Lee was handicapped by being drafted by the mid-70s Habs in their prime and he was sent to their then farm-team, the Nova Scotia Voyageurs (then considered good enough to compete with some NHL teams).

That was followed by a spell with the then unspectaacular Pittsburgh Penguins so unfortunately for Mr. Lee and hockey fans I don't think he was ever able to achieve what he could have.
