Dotcom billionaire Mark Cuban made his fortune with the sale of his web radio company Broadcast.com to Yahoo! in 1999 for nearly $6 billion in stock. But he's since made his name as one of most outspoken owners in the NBA. In the nine years following his purchase of the Dallas Mavericks, Cuban has accumulated 14 fines worth a total of around $1.5 million for his outbursts against opposing players, referees, and league officials. Even Cuban's star player, Dirk Nowitzki, has suggested his boss should "learn how to control himself as well as the players do."
