Warner Brothers already ruined our childhood memories with their live-action/animated Looney Tunes movie in 2003. Undaunted, they’re now ready to do the same to a television favourite, Yogi Bear. Anna Faris is in negotiations to play a documentary filmmaker making a movie about the title character and his life of stealing pic-a-nic baskets in Jellystone Park. Yogi and his sidekick Boo-Boo, voiced in the original cartoon by Daws Butler and Don Messick, will likely be voiced by Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake. There is no word yet on whether the company will replace the catchphrase “smarter than the average bear” with something hipper.
