She recommends living in an urban area, and making sure that public transit is nearby so a car isn’t needed. “Having a bus pass is one of the top things you can do for the environment.”

    You must live in a large metropolitan area. Some smaller communities do not have regular public transit. Then there are those who choose to live in rural areas. Like on farms – you know they grow the food that you eat. Maybe you can address this in another column.
