How come the Chretien and Martin Liberal governments get off scot free for sending Canada to Kabul and then to Kanadahar totally unprepared and properly equipped for the conditions on the ground? The provision for detainees being one of the things they did not prepare for at all.

Harper inherited a Liberal mess, mucked around in the mud for awhile because the the inexperience of his new government, but he eventually dragged Canada out of the mud the Liberals drove the country into.

Should prime culprits #1 and #2 be Paul Martin and Bill Graham for having no effective detainee policy in the first place?

Prove it. Ask Stevie to call a public inquiry so we can get all the facts.

Shouldn't the Harper Gov't's Golden Boy MacKay have mentioned that instead of instantly putting the boots to Mr Colvin? I mean, if he knew? I'm not sure this isn't innocent by reason of incompetence. And the Liberals get a pass because they only signed on for one year, and they handed the prisoners to the kinder, gentler Americans.
