Lou Dobbs considering a run for the Presidency. Of the United States. Of America.

He made the remark on Fred Thompson’s radio show. Which only makes this whole thing even better, somehow.

Doesn't he realize Sarah Palin has it all locked up already?

Dobbs-Palin. One an expert on Mexico, the other Russia. Be warned DNC.

I would love to see Dobbs and Palin run as independents, like Perot all those years ago. We could have Mr. hopenchange for Dems, Huckerbee for Repubs and a couple wild cards. What an interesting election it would be.

What an interesting election it would be.

It would be interesting in the same way that traffic accidents are "interesting". Not the sort of "interesting" that I'm interested in.

Obama would slaughter them all if that happens.

I agree. The populist and repub nominee would cancel each other out and The One would return for second term. Still think it would be interesting, though.

Perhaps Lou is looking to Fred's campaign as an inspiration.

    The heart goes pitty-pat.

Good to now there's a back-up in case Liberal-infighting entertainment ever goes on hiatus.

What an idiot, does he really believes he has a chance?

Mr. Independant, representing the populist……..when he's filthy rich.

He's going to have to make up his mind if he's truly and independant or an embarrassed right wing republican pretending to be independant.

Gotta love American presidential politics. They don't even pretend to field any serious candidates anymore. I'm gonna wait until Ryan Seacrest declares he's running – or maybe there'll be a new Spiderman movie by then and Toby McGuire can make a run.

A Palin/Dobbs ticket. Does that come before or after the locusts?
