I see a nomination to run for the Liberals in Toronto for Khadr. He'd be the perfect guy to attend all the Hamas and Tamil Tiger rallies that Liberals are so fond of.

why is everyone so quick to beleive this guy is innocent? i find it difficult to beleive this kid was shot for no reason, and then what? they tried to hide their mistake by forcing him to confess to killing someone he didn't kill? well who did kill speers then? i suppose the us army killed him too, as part of their conspiracy to jack up this kid. get over it people. he's where he belongs. i sure don't want him in my town when he's let off by some bleeding heart idiot judge

Not a bad article right up to the last line:
"What Khadr wants, Xenakis says, is “fair justice.” Speer’s widow and two young children crave the very same thing."

When you sign up for the US armed forces you know what risks you are taking. I have never understood how a charge of murder makes any sense in this context.

I vote sending him to Toronto. That is where most of the lefty terrorist supporters live. Maybe he will thank them by placing a bomb there.

There is also another “event” that should be considered carefully. What if Omar Khadr is entirely innocent of the charges against him? If you ask me, among the reasons Harper resists bringing the boy to face justice at home is the settlement afforded Maher Arar for enduring a single year of torture abroad. The “evidence” so far presented supporting Khadr’s guilt appears to be woven of very flimsy fabric indeed, and absent “confession” elicited through the torture of a severely injured teenager, may be completely non-existent.

There is another event that we should consider and preapre for folks! What if the Yanks try him, find him guity -> then off to the firing squad! think about it .. I am NOT saying I support such a thing only that it is a very plausible outcome~!
