I agree. Kenny G sold out a looooong time ago, Mr. Wells.

Hey, if it worked for Stevie …

Steve can play music but I don't think he actually appreciates it or even really likes it.

"but I don't think he actually appreciates it or even really likes it."

What makes you say that? Harper seems to like classic rock, not my taste, but it does seem sincere. I also read somewhere recently that Harper likes to play piano while his son plays guitar.

Thanks for connecting the dots for me, Mulletaur. I had no idea why Wells posted this until I read your comment.

Actually I have no reason at all for posting it, except a vague sense that, while I'm fond of Fillon and Salle Pleyel and used to be fond of Sting, the thought of all three of them together suddenly seems like a perfect vision of hell. I had a line in here about Fillon playing piano, but took it out because if I left it in, I would seem to have a point and I don't.

            Yeah.

            "a perfect vision of hell."

I was thinking the same thing so I assumed it would be another reason for you. I read the description of what Sting would be performing, wtf is "traditional music of Newcastle", and thought to myself why in god's name would Parisians want to attend.

"and thought to myself why in god's name would Parisians want to attend."

Paris is basically second-hand English language bookstores and Irish pubs so of course they would go to a concert featuring the "traditional music of Newcastle."
