Just when you thought you’d mastered the format of the Monday caption challenge, I sneak up and smack you over the head with the candlestick of change.
(I’ll give you a moment here to wrap the wound in the gauze of reluctant adjustment.)
The goal of the challenge remains the same: Be funny. Amuse the masses. Impress members of the opposite sex with your current-events savvy and lexical wit, reducing them to quivering wrecks of anticipation and sexual longing. Also, maybe spell some of the words correctly.
BUT… today you must abide by this one additional rule: Your entry MUST begin with the following words:
“Oh, hi. I didn’t see you come in. I was just…”
And you take it from there.
