Someone should do something to make things somehow better

This video has been posted to YouTube under the headline “Jason Kenney calls for more civility in the House.” It features two of the more prominent members of Parliament lamenting for the tone and tenor of debate in Ottawa and if you look closely you can just about make out the halos that hang above each’s head.

Heh: "Dispuption", I'm guessing, is a portmanteau of "dispeptic" and "disruption".

Which makes it the perfect word to describe what that manual achieves.

Both LeBlanc and Kenney and the interviewer, Clark, all agreed that one of the big problems with Question Period is the role of the media. The desire of the media to always lead with the sensational fluff story encourages MP`s to act in a sensational fluffy manner.

So if the media always led with stories about cute puppy dogs, it would encourage more MPs to sit up and beg in Question Period?

And here I thought our MPs were supposed to be leaders, not followers. Silly me.

When the government talks like this these days it always reminds me of the bully in grade school who puts you in a headlock and then beats you with your own limbs.

Actually all parties are a disgrace. They just foaming at the mouth, spin, slime, sleaze, blame, scandals…a complete joke. They are all an embarrassment to the entire country, not to mention these treasonous bloc heads collecting a nice big fat English speaking pay check monthly, what a waste of money, what a joke this country has become.
