Sarah Palin builds a giant fence

A reporter moves in next door, and up goes the wall

Best-selling author Joe McGinnis is working on a new book about Republican sweetheart Sarah Palin—so he rented the house next to hers in Wasilla, Alaska. Palin is none too thrilled. McGinnis has already written a pretty nasty magazine piece about the failed vice-presidential candidate, and when she noticed him on his back porch the other day, she vented her anger on Facebook. “Knowing of his many other scathing pieces of ‘journalism’… we’re sure to have a doozey to look forward to with this treasure he’s penning,” she wrote. “Wonder what kind of material he’ll gather while overlooking Piper’s bedroom, my little garden, and the family’s swimming hole?” A 14-foot-high fence now separates the two properties.

Ms. Palin, tear down this wall.

      LOL!!!

  • Conservative

Stupid liberals, if someone was doing this to you, you'd have your communist led ACLU all over it.

Man rents house legally, does whatever he does and sees whatever he sees on said rented property.

Woman owns house next, does whatever she wants on her property, builds fence.

Don't really see the issue, or even what's particularly noteworthy – they're each doing legal things on their legal residences.

Not to mention the fact that building a fence to keep some guy from snooping at your house about as normal a human activity as you can get.

First normal thing Palin has done in many years. She has my (rare) sympathy.

Let's hope she builds more fences soon!

      • Craig O

If we get real lucky, she'll build one over her front door and fluff stories like this are all we'll hear about her…

  • http://www.profenceworks.com Tall Fence

That's a tall fence. We build fences!

Not much different than Dick Cheney having his official residence obscured from Google Earth.

  • Tony

How can she see Russia anymore with such a tall fence?

Seriously though, this dude writing a book about her, who, then, decides to move in next is a little weird.

  • Robb

I would build a fence too if some Hysterical Leftist moved in next to me!

Why don't they just build themselves an underground layer, like batman or bin ladin?

  • david

yes jacksonville, we should all have our own underground lair

  • Charles

Underground layer, that's a good one! I can't believe she doesn't want a journalist watching her( and her children’s), every move when their enjoying the privacy of their own backyard. Man she’s such a ditz.

Palin = Bin laden, lol, good one jacksonville.

I imagine McGinnis is pleased to have the fence. Now $arah can't photgraph him while he sits on his deck minding his own business and then post the photo online.

  • Trish

    Too late. She already did.

How can he possibly be minding his own business when he moved to Alaska to follow her? His rental of the house disqualifies him from minding his own business automatically.
