Liberal MP's should be condemning these acts. They're not. They're blaming the government.

This is not how a responsible opposition party acts. Sad, truly sad.

This will bite the Liberals in the next election. I note that the NDP has come out and criticized the thugs. Good for them.

When certain electoral battles (ridings) are won by margins of hundreds, or even thousands, these protesters need to vote ''en bloc''. In fact, it proved successful in the last Québec elections when, in Mericer, Amir Khadir was elected.

With what little rights we have, what little power that is in the hands of the people:

    VOTE!

um .. ok. hey, believe me, the PQ vote splintering into silly fringe parties is fine with us.

Your ignorance on that particular riding aside, that was not the PQ vote at work… Certainly, there were PQ and LIberal votes that might have gone to Khadir but, the big difference was in the mobilization of those who typically would not vote (and many of those are the same people who would protest openly at events such as the G20).

(perhaps you need to familiarize yourself with Mercier to appreciate how such an ''anomaly'' could happen)

I know it's twitter and all that but it's pretty hard to take an MP seriously when they text like a 12 year old.

The left wing loons, the supporting media and the opposition including this MP, giving aid and comfort to thugs will have a lot to answer for. Those of us who live on Main Street Canada will not forget!
