The President of the Treasury Board seems to indicate the census could just as easily be outsourced to 12-year-olds with Internet connections.

“We live in an information age where any 12-year-old kid can push any button on the Internet and find out any information he or she wants without threatening a citizen that they’re going to go to jail.”

What about the now-updated link "POW defense" as in "not even POWs have to give as much information about themselves"…?

You know…I think I will have to run for office as an MP for my riding under the CPC banner…I mean, what other job can I be a complete imbecile and get paid > $100K a year for working half of it?

<Uh…well…scratch that…I don't think I can pretend to be that stupid and retain some semblance of dignity…>

If that's the case, somebody better be contacting the Privacy Commissioner!

People who use statistics are usually planners or analysts of some sort. . Socialist governments are inveterate planners, planning the economy, wishing to plan even your visits to the bathrooms that they love counting.

Social Consrvatives do not plan to go to the bathroom as they are anal retentive and therefore do not need such statistics but are willing to count bathrooms to keep the lefties happy – but only voluntarily.
Most of the people on this thread are in favour of statistics. Therefore the majority of people on this thread are lefties.

That's about the size of the logic I read here..

    Another tempest in a teapot.

I think I get what you're trying to say, in any event, it made me laugh, so thumbs up for asphalt.
