Brian Mulroney's frontbench top three

by Aaron Wherry on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 5:25pm - 0 Comments

The former prime minister picks his three stars.

Instead the Mulroney honours go to Government House Leader John Baird, Liberal foreign affairs critic Bob Rae and NDP Leader Jack Layton. He feels they are the three best “performers” in the House.

… Mr. Milnes said Mr. Mulroney gave his assessment in the “context of how important it is for a leader – or any effective politician – to inspire a crowd or the Commons itself.”

No Harper, no Clement, no Mackay….snicker.

Baird can be brilliant, he is always worth watching. I do not trust Bob Rae's judgement anymore. Layton needs to focus on turning the Liberal party of Canada into a rump. His single minded attack on Harper will help the Liberals survive.

This is not a campaign Ernie…cease with the pompoms.

Ya, I'd take this as a resounding endorsement of Bob Rae as leader of the Liberal party.

I'll get this out of the way so we can move on to other more important things:

    Post from Chet:
    Mulroney is a leftie

    Post from Holimn:
    Mulroney is a leftie

      You forgot 'progressive'…..'progressive leftie'

I've never met one myself….but chet's place is apparently overrun with them.

Isn't there a spray for them? Oh, my mistake, there was a spray but McGuinty banned it. Yeah, McGuinty and his progressive folk rock communist Kenyan Kum Ba Yah wierdo freak commie (sorry I said that already) freak, um, commie emo alt-energy entourage of um, Kenyan freaks.

We were told that McGuinty is an evil reptilian kitten eater ;-)

Brilliant post, I can never get enought of what Muldoon is thinking and then watching the little brown balls of mud dropping out of the enlightened comments.

Okay. Someone please send over a bag of donuts and Canadian Tire money to former PM Mulroney. For an extra dollop of irony and fun, meet him at the Trudeau Airport.

I think that Mulroney is probably guilty of taking $ 300,000.00 from a German businessman.

I also think that the Liberal Party took $40,000,000.00 from the taxpayers of Canada.

I think it`s important to periodically remind folks that these are the two main reasons why it will be a long time before either the PC Party or the LPC will ever win another election.

Well, given the PC party no longer exists, you may be on to something.

Watch it buddy or I'll bring up the Pacific Scandal.

I note that Mulroney was talking about "performers", and that's the operative word there. Performers. Like circus acts. Or vaudeville acts.

E.g., nobody does "sanctimonious" like Jack Layton.
