Donald Trump "frightened" by Obama's popularity among African-Americans

Says it’s okay to say so because “I have a great relationship with the blacks”

Reality show host and Presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared on a radio show today and was asked about the overwhelming support of African-Americans for President Obama. Trump called it “frightening” that Obama is so popular with these voters, but not before explaining that his opinion counts because “I have a great relationship with the blacks.” Trump doesn’t usually talk about racial matters, being concerned with proving that Obama isn’t really a citizen; Joseph Farah, whose World Net Daily is the leading organ of so-called “birtherism,” told Politico that he and Trump have “been speaking quite a bit” and praised Trump for bringing the issue of Obama’s birth certificate into the mainstream.

Donald Trump and the rest of the Republican party are eager to "take back America" – but from whom? Back to when? It's all code for racism, and it's it's not even that coded. It's interesting to compare today's US fear mongers to post-WWII, government-produced films about tolerance:

I never knew Donald Trump is a presidential candidate to begin with!

Donald Trump is at best engaged in a publicity stunt, and at worst, a Democratic plant trying to make the Republicans look crazy (or at least crazier), by embracing all of the issues that make the GOP look less than mainstream. His performance in the polls is the result of name recognition – that is the same reason Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani were leading in the polls around this time in 2008, while Lieberman was on top in 2004.

Donald Trump's candidacy is, much like his hair and supposed business prowess, fake.

The fact that this man is even being taken seriously is just weird.

Trump is a joke. The guy is toying with mindless uninformed/dumbed down brainwashed American people and having an entertaining blast doing so. Watch him sometime, he’s playing a real life game, unlike people who line up/camped out to buy the latest game technology, Trump plays for real, not fiction.

Let’s see if he (trump) can uncover Obama’s secret life , proving born in America would be a good start, than perhaps Trump may not be as laughable as he is right now.

Why are you trying to rob Donald Trump´s great image, that makes him so popular among the public, Rob? Does success in other people bother you? Consider that Obama hasn´t been able to prove his citizenship nor his achievements as a foreing student with an Indonesian student scholarship under a false name.

Fun to watch all you lefties once again try your best to ignore reality. Trump is skyrocketing in the polls. Will be interesting to see how far he goes. One thng is for sure: with almost an entire race that solid behind Obama it tells you all you need to know who the real racists are. Imagine, a Harper majority and Trump all at the same time. Enough to make the left go right off the deep end.

Trump won't survive the fact that he's pro-choice in the abortion issue. No Republican ever gets chosen as candidate with that position on abortion.

You have to question the intellectual heft of people who can only think in absolutes, like "Left" & "Right".

      And Black & White

One can only hope he'd be chosen as the Republican candidate. It'd destroy the party, and Trump would be a sort of hero for many due to it.

As Benjamin Franklin famously said so long ago, “The only things certain in life are death and taxes.” If he were alive today, I’m sure he would update that famous saying to something like “The only things certain in life are death, taxes, and Donald Trump not doing anything unless he stands to profit from it.” And that is exactly what is happening now, as the sad GOP and the media yet again fail to see they are being exploited by wealthy and powerful interests who could give a rat’s ass about the country.
