Following the discovery yesterday that a human foot was delivered to the Conservative Party’s headquarters in Ottawa, local police found another package at a Canada Post office containing a human hand. This package, found last night, was not addressed to the Tories’ headquarters, says the Globe and Mail.
In a separate incident that could be related, says the Globe, a janitor working in Montreal’s west end found body parts, including a torso, in a suitcase in a pile of garbage.
The Ottawa police force’s major crimes division is handling the investigation.
According to the Canadian Press, the torso found in Montreal belonged to a male.
