Less than a week from the U.S. presidential election, Halloween couldn’t be timelier for political costumes. The debates gave plenty of costume ideas, from binders of women to horses with bayonets. And with Mitt Romney rocketed Sesame Street back into social discourse when he said: “I love PBS, I love Big Bird,” the No. 1 selling costume of the year (according to several American radio stations) was the friendly yellow bird.
