Claude Bonnet, owner of Ottawaâs ByWard Market, holds up the "Obama Cookie". President Barak Obama purchased three maple leafâshaped shortbread cookies from Le Moulin de Provence during his first international visit to Ottawa in February in 2009. The shop renamed the cookie after the President and sells approximatley 5000 a month. -November 7th 2012
